1. Strategio
The aim of the STRATEGIO programme is to provide the decision-makers and directors of the companies from the cluster with a set of modules each devoted to a development stage of a BioTech Santé product or service.
Each module will explore the details of a stage from the perspective of the director/decision-maker:
- What are the right questions to ask yourself when commencing this part of the process?
- What tools and methods exist or are still being developed? Advantages? Limitations?
- Who to contact and what to read if you want to find out more about this subject?
The Strategio programme will consist, on the one hand, of a mini-MBA of just under twenty days over 8 months and will offer an overview of the development process for a biotech product from the decision-makers’ perspective.
It is therefore aimed at the directors of companies already in place or just entering the BioTech Santé world, at those with “high potential” and at decision-makers from the academic and scientific world looking to improve their integration with entrepreneurial logics.
The programmes will also include a series of workshops–conferences focused on emerging techniques. These sessions will give the decision-makers a precise idea of the issues raised by these techniques for their organisation.
2. Transverse
The TRANSVERSE programme is designed to develop the transverse skills required for the development process of a new BioTech Santé product or service. By helping staff to view their work within a broader perspective, the programme contributes to the general improvement of the process and more effective communication throughout it (increased efficiency and operational excellence).
Transverse is a programme by companies, for companies. BioPharE’s intention is to bring together as many contributors as possible from among BioWin member companies in order to create a rich and up-to-date programme which truly provides a transverse view of the creation of a new Biotech Santé product or service.
Based on a practical scenario, the programme covers the different stages and places the emphasis on the limitations linked to the different “professions” active in the process, as well as on all of its transverse aspects.
By inviting decision-making groups and operational staff to work together in the programme, TRANSVERSE also aims to reduce the impact of “vertical” barriers between the different levels of responsibility and between academics and manufacturers. In this way, it should enable companies to bring their products to market more swiftly, as the departments will have learnt to communicate more effectively with each other. They will also be more innovative, since Marketing (which knows the needs of the market) will be better understood by R&D (which has the technical ideas needed to innovate).
3. Focus
The objective of the FOCUS programme is to describe in detail the technical and operational aspects of the management of a process (or part of a process) for the development of a BioTech Santé product or service. It is therefore aimed primarily at technicians and at operational and scientific staff.
In reality, this programme is a catalogue of short training courses designed to develop a highly specific skills set. In order to make them more easily identifiable, the courses will be grouped together by stages of a process.
4. Cap Bio
The CAP BIO programme is structured in two modules.
The first module is designed to guide job applicants and students through the various programmes offered by the BioPharE project and by BioWin in general, but also towards other (long) training programmes existing in the Walloon Region, against a background of a shortage of employment within BioTech Santé companies.
The second module allows participants in the BioPharE programmes to refresh the skills and knowledge that they have acquired, with a view to their rapid integration in a BioTech sector job. It will also offer research staff new challenges and facilitate their repositioning. |
